VAPA Showcase Program
Frequent assemblies with active student participation provide opportunities for our students to show their talents and knowledge, gain stage presence, develop self-esteem, perfect their enunciation and develop memorization and acting skills. These presentations occur with regularity beginning in PPK. In the final year of elementary school, students in Grade 5 work on a year-long project, fondly referred to as TAP5, that culminates with a musical. Every aspect of the production, performance, music, choreography, set & prop design, costumes, marketing & public relations, is student led, with support and guidance from their teachers. Our VAPA program encourages confidence and a natural ability to speak and perform in front of an audience.
