Important message to our TD Alumni regarding TASIS Dorado's response to COVID-19 sent on March 24, 2020.
The COVID-19 virus has had extraordinary effects on our world and personal lives, and I write to our alumni to provide an update on TASIS Dorado’s response to this pandemic as well as offer virtual opportunities to re-engage with your alma mater. We hope this finds you well!
As many of you know, on Friday, March 13 TASIS Dorado announced it was temporarily closing our campus and transitioning to distance learning, which began on Wednesday, March 18. At this time, TASIS Dorado will remain closed through Sunday, April 12, which marks the end of our Spring Break. Further changes to school closure will be closely monitored and communicated by the leadership here at TASIS Dorado.
Connect with TASIS Dorado
Here at TASIS Dorado, we encourage alumni to maintain a lifelong relationship with the School and each other! To this end, TASIS Dorado is dedicated to strengthening ties with our alumni body through further engagement, communication, and connections. Whether you reside on the island, in the States or across the globe, we are confident you will find various ways to connect, get involved, and learn about the latest and greatest taking place at your alma mater. The Office of Alumni Relations has made great strides in reconnecting the alumni body with the School, including the rollout of a more robust and diverse annual calendar of events; an online community, specifically Facebook and Instagram, including a monthly Instagram Alumni Challenge; and an alumni spotlight series called Aluminaries. Future plans include an official TASIS Dorado Alumni Association, volunteer opportunities, and an online alumni portal and directory. We invite all alumni to tune in and take pride in being a part of the TASIS Dorado family.
