TASIS Dorado offers 15 Advanced Placement (AP) courses to qualified students. Students are expected to invest a considerable amount of time in coursework that may include a significant amount of reading, self-evaluation and practice. Many AP courses meet before or after school once or twice weekly in addition to the regular class schedule. An AP student is required to take the AP exam in May in order for the course to be registered on his or her transcript as an Advanced Placement course.
