As key players in the implementation of TASIS Dorado’s curriculum, our extraordinary teachers are noted for their intellect and knowledge, passion for teaching and learning, caring demeanor, and love of children. Our teachers believe that every student deserves to be heard, loved, respected, and challenged. TASIS Dorado teachers are dedicated to their craft exercising a student-centered approach to instruction, making sure every student has what they need, when they need it, to be successful learners.
TASIS Dorado’s teaching staff consists of 109 faculty members. More than half possess advanced degrees in education or their field of specialty.

Alberto Chiecchio P’32 ’35
Ph.D. in Mathematics
TASIS Dorado Secondary Division Innovation Sciences Department Coordinator
Math, Computer Science and Economics Teacher
A member of the TASIS Dorado faculty since 2015, Alberto has taught a variety of courses, including Introduction to Computer Science, AP Statistics, AP Economics, and AP Computer Science. Alberto enjoys playing legos, board games and role-playing games and does his best to incorporate that level of fun into his teaching. Originally from Italy, Alberto holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Washington. He is also a proud TASIS parent of two elementary students!

Cynthia Paris
M.Ed. in Curriculum Design and Development
TASIS Dorado Secondary Division Puerto Rican Studies Teacher
With over 18 years of experience in education, Cynthia has been a member of the TASIS Dorado faculty since 2008. Currently, she teaches Puerto Rican Studies in our Middle School program and previously was the Department Coordinator for English Language Arts and Social Studies in our Elementary program. Before coming to TASIS Dorado, Cynthia was the Spanish Department Head at NESOL Language Institute.
Cynthia was a double major in Modern Languages (Italian & French) and Literature (English) at UPR, Rio Piedras and completed her graduate studies in Education, with a focus on Curriculum Design and Development, at Caribbean University.
Cynthia is constantly motivated by her desire to learn something each and every day, especially when it comes from her students. She appreciates the anticipation and excitement of achieving new goals each year and is honored to be a member of TASIS Dorado’s community of scholars.

Kinder Teacher
A member of the TASIS Dorado faculty since 2002, Michelle has taught Spanish, 2nd grade English and Math, and currently is a member of the Kinder team. She enjoys cycling while listening to audio books or 80’s music. Michelle holds a Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from Framingham State University. She is also a proud parent of two TD alumnae from the class of 2018 and 2020, both of whom started at TASIS Dorado in PPK.
“I hope my students believe in themselves, their capabilities and the importance of never giving up! I hope they understand that mistakes are learning opportunities that make them stronger! And I hope they embrace and respect diversity and individuality. As a teacher, I find much satisfaction presenting concepts and skills in a variety of creative, fun, and meaningful ways. Young students are willing participants in the learning process enjoying every song, every game, every theme...they are simply pure and unique little beings!”
Olga Muñóz P’27 ’29
M.Ed. in Elementary Education specializing in Technology
TASIS Dorado Elementary Division
Math & Science Teacher
With over 17 years of experience in education teaching math and science, Olga has been a member of the TASIS Dorado faculty since 2003, While at TASIS Dorado, Olga has taught Math and Science in both 3rd and 4th grades. Olga has a B.A. from the University of Arizona and completed her graduate studies in Elementary Education, with a specialization in Technology at Arizona State University. Olga is a proud parent of two TD Bears in our Elementary and Secondary programs.
Olga finds great joy in teaching, ensuring fun is part of the learning process which inspires her students to give their very best. She is dedicated to helping her students be successful, overcome obstacles along the way, all the while developing a love for math.
